Ms. Adia Millett

The talented and beautiful Adia Millett is one of the featured artist of the "Who is Oakland" exhibit at the Oakland Museum. Adia is an artist that wears many hats and posseses the gift of story telling through a variety of media ranging from fantastical miniatures to intricate needle point and quilts. The "Who is Oakland" exhibit showcases Adia's ability to unmask the beauty of what is simple and implicit. Her featured piece, "The Crow's Caw" is a wooden shingle cladded facade, housing a single black crow perched on a window seal.
