Lindsey is passionate about creating and fostering a vibrant artist community which has led to her partnering with Joel Millikan and curating several group shows of emerging talent through subLEVEL Art. A large past recent series of oil paintings focused on the ignored and disregarded elements of city life in the style of contemporary realism. While this subject matter is still prevalent in her street art under the name MILLI, the artist’s solo show in Fall of 2013 s at D-Structure focused on the ethereal power of music and elusive nature of time. In addition, the artist is currently working on a series for a Solo Exhibition in 2014 at EBMUD Headquarters that will highlight the artist’s growing passion for painting wildlife in a contemporary realism style that merges the bold color palette of street art with her academic training of rendering in the tradition of the Old Masters.
